Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few things parents commonly ask before getting started:
What ages do you work with?
Training is available for young athletes across a range of ages, from as young as 4 to as old as 14. Sessions are adjusted to each child’s age, attention span, experience, and developmental level.
Where does training take place?
Lessons and programs take place at Larry’s home, local fields, facilities, schools, and other approved locations in and around La Cañada Flintridge.
Do parents stay during lessons?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and observe every session.
What should my child bring?
Bring appropriate athletic clothing, water, and any personal equipment normally used for the sport. For baseball or softball, that may include a glove, bat, helmet, and batting gloves. Sneakers are recommended.
Should we book 30 or 60 minutes?
Thirty-minute sessions often work well for younger athletes or focused instruction. Sixty-minute sessions provide more time for repetitions, multiple skills, and a broader training plan.
Can siblings or friends train together?
Small-group sessions may be available depending on the athletes’ ages, sports, skill levels, and goals. Contact Coach Larry to discuss the best arrangement.

What happens if it rains?
Weather conditions are monitored closely. If a session must be changed or canceled, Coach Larry will contact you to reschedule.

How do I pay?
Pricing is listed above. New families receive payment instructions after scheduling their first lesson. Established clients may continue using their usual payment method.
